Chuck's Math is a math-practice app for children and families, provided by ARLAGE. We designed it to work without an account or an internet connection. The app does not show ads, offer in-app purchases or subscriptions, or use analytics or tracking services.
Information used by the app
Children can enter answers to math problems. A completed round shows its score and an answer review. Individual questions and answers are used during that session; the app does not save a history of those individual answers after the session. It saves only summary progress on the device: the number of rounds and questions completed, the number answered correctly, the best round accuracy, and totals for each math operation.
The app also saves the chosen math operations, number ranges, question and time limits, color palette, and light/dark/system appearance setting on the device. These settings and progress are stored locally so they are available when the app is opened again. Chuck's Math does not require a name, email address, account, or profile to practice.
Information we receive
The app does not send practice answers, progress, settings, or personal information to ARLAGE. We do not use in-app analytics, advertising networks, or third-party tracking, and we do not sell or share app data with advertisers or data brokers.
If you choose to email us, we receive the email address and information you include in your message. We use that information only to respond to your request and handle related correspondence. Please do not send a child's personal information in a support message unless it is necessary for your request.
Internet access, permissions, and other services
Chuck's Math works offline. Its current features do not contact ARLAGE servers or ask for access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or other sensitive device data.
The store where you obtained the app and your device's operating system may separately process purchase information, diagnostics, or backups under their own privacy policies and settings. ARLAGE does not receive payment-card details through Chuck's Math. Device backups may contain the app's locally saved settings and progress if you have backups enabled.
Children's privacy
Chuck's Math is intended for children, including early elementary learners. It has no account creation, chat, social sharing, behavioral advertising, or in-app purchases. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app. Parents and guardians can contact us at the address below with any privacy question or concern.
Security
The app relies on the device's operating system to protect information stored locally. A device passcode and current operating-system updates can help protect that information. No storage method is completely risk-free, but the app does not maintain a server-side copy of practice data.
Keeping or deleting local data
Settings and summary progress remain on the device until the app's data is cleared or the app is removed. On Android, you can clear the app's storage in device settings. On iOS, deleting the app removes its on-device app data; off-device backups, if any, are managed through your Apple account and device settings. Because ARLAGE does not receive the app's local practice data, we cannot access or delete it for you from a server.
Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer and manage the request, unless a longer period is required by law. You can ask us to delete a support message by contacting us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
If the app's privacy practices change, we will update this policy and its date. If a change affects the information required by an app store, we will update that store's privacy disclosures as well.
